Know Your Lane: Why Smart Founders Outsource

Getting Clear on the Offer & Updating the Website

After finding my WHY (Part One) and setting boundaries (Part Two), the next step was clarity—getting really clear on what I actually offer, and updating the website so it finally reflected that.

Because let’s be real: if people can’t easily see what you do, who you help, and how they can work with you, you’re putting roadblocks in their way.

For me, clarity looked like this:

👉 Longer-term coaching (6–12 months) – like having me in your business with you. You get my support and brainpower to grow, get more efficient, and boost profit. It’s for those who want lasting change and are ready to commit.

👉 Workshops – for when you need sharp, focused help. Perfect if you’ve hit a roadblock, want clarity, or just want to try business coaching for the first time.

👉 Weekend retreats – for the busy-busy owners who can’t step away often. Two days to reset, refocus, and walk away with a clear plan you can put into action.

Not everyone needs the same thing. Some need ongoing support, some just need a sharp hit of direction, and some simply need space.

And here’s the thing—I didn’t (and couldn’t) do all the backend work myself. I don’t need to be an IT person. I needed to know where I wanted to go and what I wanted to get across, then hand it over to someone with the right skills.

That’s where Maria Hilhorst from First Light Digital came in. Maria used to work with me, and she’s also been one of my coaching clients. Now the roles have flipped—she’s helping me. And she’s brilliant.

It’s such a reminder that founders don’t need to do everything themselves. In fact, trying to do it all often costs you more. Surround yourself with people whose skills complement yours—it saves time, energy, and sanity.

And honestly? That’s what I love most—female founders uplifting each other. ✨
